The Dubuque Senior High School student who was arrested for bringing a gun to school had his case moved to juvenile court. 17 year old Jason Gardner was set to go to trial in December after being charged with carrying weapons on school grounds but a motion to move the case out of adult court has recently been granted. A resource officer found the gun inside Gardner’s backpack, unloaded. When asked, Gardner said he found the gun at a bus stop near Senior. His new court date has not yet been set.
