A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary in Cedar Falls. Midas Muffler on University Avenue was burglarized on Halloween. Nothing ended up missing from the scene but there was damage done to the reception area. According to Cedar Falls police, evidence collected at the scene pointed to 30-yesr-old Thomas Allen Young a former employee. A search of Young’s home at 1241 Ingersoll Road in Waterloo turned up evidence that allegedly shows Young was at the Midas at the time of the burglary. He turned himself in at the Black Hawk County Jail on Thursday and has been charged with Third Degree Burglary and Second Degree Criminal Mischief.
