A teenager has been arrested on marijuana charges connected to a shooting last week of a 16 year old and a 14 year old in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police arrested 18 year old Jalyis Thomas on charges of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver. The 16 year old and 14 year old were outside Thomas’ home around 10:00 p.m. on April 12th when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire. Both teens survived their gunshot wounds. Police got a search warrant for the home where they allegedly found distribution quantities of marijuana and a scale. No arrests have been made in the shooting itself.
