A teen has been arrested on weapons charges following a search in Dunkerton Wednesday.
Details weren’t immediately available, but Waterloo police arrested David Quinndale Wright Jr., 18, following a traffic stop and the search of a home. Wright was arrested on charges of carrying weapons, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail, and bond was set at $400,000.
The traffic stop took place around noon in Dunkerton, and police searched a home on Sycamore Street. In addition to Waterloo police, officers with the Dunkerton Police Department and deputies with the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office were involved.
