A 17 year old has been arrested after allegedly flashing a gun at a Cedar Falls restaurant, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The teen and a girl were picking up food from Bigfoot Betty’s on Main Street last Tuesday afternoon when the teen began arguing with an employee for unknown reasons. During the argument the teen showed a handgun in his waistband before leaving the establishment. Cedar Falls Police were able to track his movements using downtown surveillance cameras. They got the license plate number of the vehicle he got into and then matched the plate to his home address where they found him and the gun. The teen was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Carrying Weapons, and Assault While Displaying a Weapon.
