Waterloo Police continue to investigate a shooting that injured a teenage boy in Waterloo over the weekend, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to the scene late Saturday night where a 14 year old boy was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police were told that someone in a vehicle drove past the teen and fired the shot that hit the boy but police say they believe an accidental shooting happened at a home on Dawson Street instead. Police have not yet found the firearm involved in the shooting. The teen was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for treatment of his wound.
