Thursday was a solid day for the Waverly-Shell Rock track teams. The boys won the West Delaware Invite and the girls finished 5th at the Bobcat Invitational at Western Dubuque.
Thursday night on KWAY Country the 2nd ranked Waverly-Shell Rock girls soccer team beat Cedar Falls 3-1. The Go-Hawks got goals from Addie Ott, Anaka Ott and Lynston Souhrada while Cedar Falls got its goal from Madison Chin. The Go-Hawks are now 3-0 and the Tigers are 1-3.
Thursday night in boys soccer Cedar Falls topped Waverly-Shell Rock 4-0.
