Thursday at the Girls State Basketball Tournament 5A, 4A and 3A Semi-Finals were held. In 5A Johnston beat Iowa City High 71-61 and Waukee topped Waterloo West 88-65; in 4A North Scott beat Center Point-Urbana 40-32 and Lewis Central upset Glenwood 62-51; in 3A North Polk shocked Dike-New Hartford 46-44 and Bishop Heelan beat Clear Lake 61-57.
Class 2A and 1A Semi-Finals are Friday.
