Thursday night on KWAY Country the Class 2A 1st ranked Go-Hawk girls beat Class 3A 12th ranked Cedar Falls 7-0. It was the Go-Hawk girls’ 7th victory in a row over Cedar Falls. Waverly-Shell Rock got a hat trick from Linde Hubbard and a goal each from Mia Englin, Anaka Ott, Abby Angell and JoAnn Butler. The Go-Hawks are 4-0 and have outscored their opponents 26-0 on the season.
Thursday night in boys soccer Cedar Falls beat Waverly-Shell Rock 6-2.
Thursday in other Go-Hawk activities: In girls tennis Decorah beat Waverly-Shell Rock 9-0, Go-Hawk boys tennis beat Newton 9-0 the Go-Hawk girls track team placed 3rd at Western Dubuque and the boys track team was 4th at Cedar Falls.
