Thursday at State Track for the Waverly-Shell Rock girls: Jocelyn Endelman finished 4th and Amalia Djoumessi placed 8th in the high jump, Kinley Dietz finished 15th in the discuss and beat her personal record by 10 feet in the process, and Cat Wedeking placed 16th in the 200 meter dash. The Waverly-Shell Rock boys have the shuttle hurdle relay team in the finals after they beat their own school record in the prelims and Rylan Peters advance to the finals in the 200 meter dash.
The Denver boys 4×800 team placed 2nd behind Alburnett and both teams broke the State Meet record in the process. State Track and Field continues through Saturday.
