Wartburg wrestling has a new head assistant coach. Trevor Kittleson, who spent the last academic year as a volunteer with the program, has been named Coach Eric Keller’s top assistant. Kittleson had been head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Plattleville and an assistant at Loras before joining the Knights. He was a national qualifier in 2009 as a UNI Panther.
The Wartburg women’s wrestling team was ranked 3rd in the nation in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Team Scholar All-America Top 15. The Knights were placed right behind East Stroudsburg and North Central in the academic ranking.
