The UNI women’s basketball team picked up its second win of the Missouri Valley Conference season on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Wichita State Shockers 63-61 on the road.

UNI senior Jeremy Morgan eclipsed the 1,000 point mark in his career when he scored his first basket of the game with 11:56 left in the first half. Morgan led the Panthers with 16 points, six assists, four blocks and three steals. Morgan is the 41st UNI Panther to reach 1,000 career points.
