UNI football opens the season ranked 20th in the American Football Coaches Association Preseason Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. UNI returns 16 starters from last season, including preseason All-Americans tight end Briley Moore and defensive back Xavior Williams. The Panthers kick off the season against Iowa State on Aug. 31 in Ames at 11:00.
