Sunday the University of Northern Iowa men’s basketball jumped out to a 15-0 lead and cruised to an 80-47 victory over the Dubuque Spartans in the McLeod Center. The Panthers had 14 players score and 15 players tally a rebound in the victory. Freshman and former Go Hawk Austin Phyfe notched a pair of career highs with eight points and five rebounds.
Sunday the University of Northern Iowa women’s basketball team had a celebratory return home as the Panthers mauled UW-Parkside by a score of 92-62 to bounce back into the winning column.
