In College Golf: The University of Northern Iowa men’s golf team completed its season Tuesday with the final round of the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference Championship meet.
UNI placed eighth in the final standings with a three-round total of 925. Southern Illinois claimed the team title with a three-round score of 877.
The University of Northern Iowa softball team used four straight multi-run innings on their way to defeating Nebraska-Omaha in five innings Tuesday, 10-2. UNI’s 35th win marked the third most wins in a season by a Panther squad, tying the number set by the 1988 and 1992 teams.
