The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team stayed perfect on the season with a 3-1 victory at Austin Peay Sunday at the Culver’s Governors Challenge. UNI is off to a 3-0 start to a season for the first time since winning its first nine matches to initiate the 2011 season. Senior Heather Hook threatened a triple-double with seven kills, 45 assists and 13 digs. Hook also hit .600 with only one attack error.
The University of Northern Iowa women’s soccer team continues to shut out their opponents, winning their third straight match of the 2017 season against South Dakota in shutout fashion Sunday 2-0. UNI has started a season with three straight victories for only the second time in school history.
