The UNI volleyball team evened its Missouri Valley Conference mark with a 3-1 triumph over the Indiana State Sycamores Monday night in the McLeod Center.
UNI sophomore libero Kendyl Sorge of Janesville has been named the Missouri Valley Conference’s defensive player of the week.
Sorge put together back-to-back 29-dig efforts as the Panthers split against Missouri State and Wichita State this past weekend. Sorge ranks second in the MVC in digs per set in conference matches. Sorge has seven 20 or more dig efforts this season.
