UNI Senior defensive end Karter Schult from Tripoli was named the MVFC Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Schult was key in UNI’s win over No. 17-ranked Western Illinois on Saturday. Schult racked up six total tackles, finishing with 4.0 tackles for loss. Three of his tackles for loss were sacks, giving him 16 this season.
