The City has started lowering the inflatable dam in preparation for the upcoming bridge inspections. It will be lowered at the rate of 1/10th of a foot per day over the next few weeks. It will be lowered to 903.45 feet – two feet below normal operating conditions. This will allow bridge inspectors to provide a more complete structural assessment of the bridges.
