The family of Clarksville pastor and former mayor Val Swinton say he is off the ventilator and out of the ICU as of Wednesday. He is being kept under observation and is experiencing what’s known as ICU delirium from being in the medically induced coma but that should correct itself in a few days. He still is receiving oxygen and is weak but will be going home in a few days. His son Sam added that he has a long road of recovery ahead of him but he is out of the woods.
