Thursday night at the Northeast Iowa Conference volleyball tournament Waverly-Shell Rock had a great night. The Go-Hawks swept Waukon and Decorah. The tournament will continue Saturday and the Go-Hawks will play Charles City, New Hampton and Crestwood in Charles City.
Listen Friday night to high school football on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3. Friday evening the 1-6 Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks play the 2-5 Waterloo East Trojans in Memorial Stadium. Pregame at 7:00 and kickoff at 7:30. Fans attending can only bring clear bags to the stadium.
