Wednesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team punched their first ticket to State since 2015 when they won it all.
Wednesday night the 7th ranked Go-Hawks beat 8th ranked West Delaware 6-2. The game was tied at two until the bottom of the 5th when W-SR scored four runs to take the lead for good. Go-Hawk Brady Leonard pitched a complete game striking out 11 and giving up only three hits.
Waverly-Shell Rock will play at Principal Park in Des Moines Tuesday.
