Friday in Fort Dodge is the State Cross Country Meet for Class 4A and 3A. Waverly-Shell Rock is well represented at State. The girls qualified as a team for the first time in years. Emma Hoins and Sydney Bochmann qualified as individuals as well. The boys have three individual competitors in Nick Kepford, Andrew Cummer and Ethyn Chesnut. The girls race starts at 3:30 and at 4:00 the gun fires for the boys.
Class 1A and 2A athletes run Saturday.
