Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock boys held on to beat Charles City 48-44. The Go-Hawks led by 10 points with two minutes left but Charles City stormed back within one point before the Go-Hawks put them away. Hogan Hansen led the Go-Hawks with 19 points and Caleb Burks had a bushel of blocked shots.
Tuesday night the Go-Hawk girls beat Charles City 64-37 to complete an undefeated Northeast Iowa Conference season.
