Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat South Winneshiek 13-6. The Go-Hawk trailed 5-2 after the first inning before turning the jets on in the fourth inning to win the non-conference game.
The Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team is back in action Friday night in Charles City. The game was originally scheduled to be in Waverly but is in Charles City because the Comets home games earlier in the year had to be moved to Hertel Field.
