Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock boys soccer team crushed 16th ranked Clear Lake 9-3. The Go-Hawks led 7-0 at halftime and 9-0 before the Lions got their goals. Jeremie Podrier had a hat trick, Nick Langan and Carter Fecht each had two goals while Ty Bell and Jordan Bieneman each scored a goal.
In other boys soccer Tuesday night: Cedar Falls blanked Dubuque Senior 4-0, Dubuque Wahlert topped Waterloo East 5-1, Waterloo West crushed Western Dubuque 7-0 and Columbus beat Regina in penalties.
In girls soccer: Cedar Falls beat Dubuque Senior 3-1, Columbus shutout Iowa Falls-Alden 3-0 and Dubuque Wahlert topped Waterloo East 3-1.
