Monday night in District Baseball on KWAY Country the Charles City Comets ended the Go-Hawks’ year 7-3. With the win Charles City is District Champions and will face Xavier Wednesday night in Sub-State.
With the loss Waverly-Shell Rock finishes the year 24-15 and co-champions of the Northeast Iowa Conference.
