Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat Crestwood on the road 10-6. The Go-Hawks trailed 5-2 before coming back within one in the 5th inning and taking the lead in the 6th inning with six runs including three on a home run by sophomore Kaden Dewey.
With the win on the rain soaked field the Go-Hawks keep pace with New Hampton and Decorah in the conference race.
Plus, the win was Coach Casey Klunder’s 300th career win.
