Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock softball team upset #1 ranked Charles City 3-2. The Go-Hawks got the best of their highly ranked rivals in Northeast Iowa Conference action. This is just another sign the Go-Hawks are starting to play really good softball.
Waverly-Shell Rock softball will be back in action Friday night at 7:30 on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3. Friday evening the Go-Hawks travel to play the Mohawks of Mason City.
