Wednesday night on KWAY Country the 9th ranked Waverly-Shell Rock girls overcame a 12 point deficit coming into the 4th quarter despite not hitting at 3-pointer all night and edged 8th ranked North Polk 40-34 in overtime on the road to win a Regional Title.
The Go-Hawks are the 6-seed in the Class 4A State Tournament and will play 3-seeded Bishop Heelan Tuesday night at 5:00. Our coverage will begin at 4:00 on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3. This is the 6th trip to State for the girls in school history.
