Wednesday at the Max Cross Country Course in Waverly there was a State Qualifying cross country meet.
On the girls side Decorah, Waverly-Shell Rock and Center-Point Urbana tied for the top score with 81 points and advance to State in Fort Dodge. This is the Go-Hawk girls first trip to State as a team since the 80’s. Emma Hoins was the top Go-Hawk finishing 3rd.
On the boys side Waverly-Shell Rock finished 4th behind Center-Point Urbana, Marion and Decorah. Nick Klepford was the top Go-Hawk finisher in 8th place
