Thursday night in regular season baseball the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawk lost to Hampton-Dumont-CAL 4-3 on the road. The teams will rematch Friday, July 19th in Waverly in the first round of Districts.
Thursday night on KWAY Country in Regional softball the Mason City Mohawks blanked Waverly-Shell Rock 10-0 in 5 innings. With the loss the Go-Hawks end their season. They finish with a 5-27 record.
