Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team swept Charles City to claim at least a share of the Northeast Iowa Conference title.
The Go-Hawks took Game 1 15-0 in only 4 innings. In Game 2 the Go-Hawks led 10-2 going into the 7th where Charles City scored 8 in a wild top of the inning before Sam Roose hit a walk-off single to give the Go-Hawks an 11-10 win.
