Thursday night State Cross-country Qualifying Meets were held across the state of Iowa. Waverly-Shell Rock has two athletes that will move on to the State Meet in Fort Dodge. Sam Kepford won the meet and Emma Hoins finished 5th and will make a return trip to State. As a team the boys finished in 5th and the girls finished 4th.
