The Waverly-Shell Rock School Board has voted to apply for membership in the Mississippi Valley Conference. The application letter has not been sent at this point but will be relatively soon. Waverly-Shell Rock will compete in the Northeast Iowa Conference next school year but then will have to leave after the other five schools agreed to remove the Go-Hawks from the conference.
