Thursday night on KWAY Country Waverly-Shell Rock basketball split with Clear Lake. The 5th ranked Go-Hawk girls used a school-record 12 3-pointers to beat 10th ranked Clear Lake 61-32. In the boys game the Go-Hawks led by 10 in the 4th quarter but the Lions roared back to win 55-52. Noah Frazell netted 22 points in the loss.
Thursday night in high school wrestling Waverly-Shell Rock swept Waukon. The girls won 54-24 and the boys won 40-33.
