A Waverly Middle School student gets cook and eat a meal at the White House this week.
Waverly- Shell Rock Middle schooler Olivia Eckerman was chosen for this unique opportunity after she won a contest at the Fuel Up to Play 60 National Summit.
She’s going to prepare and eat a meal with the First Lady and kids from all over the world. The food in the meal will be directly from the White House garden.The event is part of the First Lady’s Let’s Move Initiative, which encourages kids to eat healthy and stay active.
At the meal, Olivia represents her state, her school, and the Fuel Up to Play 60 Club.
