Thursday night on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 listen as the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team plays a road game at Crestwood. Varsity action is slated to start at 7:00.
Wednesday night on KWAY Country the Go-Hawk baseball team swept New Hampton. In Game 1 Chance Key went the distance and struck out 11 and Korbyn Dewey launched a home run out of Hertel to win 7-4. In Game 2 Carson Graven threw a complete game with 12 strike outs as the Go-Hawks won 6-3 despite getting out-hit. Waverly-Shell Rock is now on a 14 game winning streak.
Wednesday night the Waverly-Shell Rock softball team swept New Hampton. The Go-Hawks won 3-0 and 7-1 over the Chickasaws.
