Wednesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat Denver 9-2 in Game One. The Go-Hawks scored six runs in the top of the 7th to make the score more lopsided than it really was.
Game Two was called due to weather. Denver was leading 3-1 with the Go-Hawks up to bat in the top of the 2nd with one out. The suspended game is unlikely to be finished.
