Yesterday the state’s conference realignment committee voted 12-0 that Waverly-Shell Rock should join the WaMac Conference. As activities director Austin Cole shares this was W-SR’s top choice for a conference home.
By an 8-5 vote the committee also voted that Decorah should join the WaMac. There is now a 60 day window in which the schools and the conference can appeal the decision.
