Monday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team won a thriller over Charles City 6-5 to claim a District Championship. The Go-Hawks got a lead early then allowed the game to be tied at 5 before scoring in the bottom of the 5th to take the lead back.
7th ranked Waverly-Shell Rock will host 8th ranked West Delaware Wednesday night at 7:00 for the Sub-State Championship Game.
