Monday the Waverly-Shell Rock cross country teams hosted three other schools for the W-SR Early Bird.
On the boys side the Go-Hawks finished 2nd behind Decorah and had 3 top-10 finishers as Matthew Hommowun was 3rd, Gage Mueller was 8th and Baily Schara was 9th.
On the girls side the Go-Hawks were in 4th place as Kate Nelson finished in 13th place.
Monday in girls tennis Dike-New Hartford beat Waverly-Shell Rock 9-0.
