Sunday, March 19 in College Baseball, Wartburg split a doubleheader with St. Thomas. St. Thomas won the first game 1-0 but the Knights came back to take the second contest 3-2. Wartburg scored the winning run on a suicide squeeze. The Knights are now 7-5 on the season.
The Wartburg Softball team dropped a pair of games Sunday at the Washington Tournament in St. Louis. The Knights lost 11-2 in 5-innings to Augustana and Washington University edged the Knights 2-1 in 8-innings. Wartburg drops to 4-12 for the year.
