Thursday night the Wartburg volleyball team advanced to the American Rivers Conference Tournament Championship by defeating Luther in 5 sets. The Knights won by scores of 25-13, 27-29, 25-17. 222-25 and 15-7. Waverly-Shell Rock grad Jayme Willemssen recorded 9 blocks and Dike-New Hartford alumnus Lizzy Blough smashed 16 kills.
Wartburg will play Dubuque Saturday night at 7:00 for a tournament championship and the automatic bid the the NCAA Tournament.
