Peter Brennan will deliver the student address at the Wartburg College Commencement on May 27.
Wartburg President Darrel Colson chose Brennan, who’s majoring in biology, to give the remarks on behalf of the Class of 2018 at the ceremony beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Hoover Fieldhouse & Track in the Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center.
Brennan is a Regents Scholar and will graduate summa cum laude. He is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma, Tri-Beta and Alpha Chi honor societies and won the college’s coveted Nobility Award, an honor for meaningful and significant contributions to the college and community through vision, action and diligence.
Brennan, of Indianola, is the son of Brian and Anne Brennan. Following graduation, he plans to work at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines while applying for admission into medical school for fall 2019.
