Wartburg is the champion of the Iowa Conference and Franklin won the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Wartburg is in the playoffs for the 11th time and the first time since 2014. Several Wartburg football players were named All-Conference performers. Junior quarterback Matt Sacia was named the Iowa Conference’s Offensive MVP and head coach Rick Willis was named the Conference’s Coach of the Year. Wartbug also had a league-best 12 players earn All-Conference honors.
