The American Rivers Conference has announced its Performers of the Week and a couple of Wartburg Knights have been recognized. Justin Grieff is the football defensive player of the week for the second consecutive week and Flori Gembo is the men’s soccer offensive player of the week.
Wartburg is ranked highly in a few sports. The men’s wrestling team is ranked #2 in the preseason poll, the women’s basketball team is 2nd in the preseason poll and the football team has risen to 11th in the coaches poll.
