Sunday Wartburg basketball opened its season with a split with Edgewood College.
The Knights won the women’s game 60-51 as two former Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks led the way with senior Payton Draper scoring 12 and freshman Britney Young netting 11 points.
A last second 3-pointer gave Edgewood College the 71-70 win over the Wartburg men.
