Thursday night the 3rd ranked Wartburg Knights edged top-ranked Augsburg 16-15 on a tiebreaker to win the Svens-Millboy Belt for the 5th straight year at the Battle of the Burgs.
Thursday night in college hoops the Wartburg women beat Simpson 88-73. Emma Gerdes had 18 points and Tori Hazard chipped in 16.
The Wartburg men lost to Simpson 84-81. Cam Kickbush led the way with 27 points.
