A Waterloo firefighter has tested positive for COVID-19, according to KWWL. As has been the case with other positive cases, very little information has been released about the individual due to confidentiality reasons. The City of Waterloo said in a press release that the department has been practicing social distancing, self-screening, frequent handwashing, and routine cleaning. They also have been following specific guidelines regarding the use of personal protective equipment while responding to calls for service.
